Abstract

The yield strength of Al-Al4C3 composite system with high volume fraction of Al4C3 phase is evaluated. The results are
compared with the previously obtained ones for lower content of dispersion phase. The validity of the Fisher-Hart-Pry
relation between the yield strength and microstructural parameters for Al-Al4C3 system with particle arrangement in
rows is confirmed in the paper.
