Abstract

The results of roughened rubber surface profilogramms approximation by cubic splines and Fourier series and its modelling by Monte Carlo method are presented. As a main parameter of profile, an autocorrelation function was selected. It was shown that the profile of surface roughness in dependence of abrasion paper grade number and experimental procedures can be predicted theoretically.
