Design of Fancy Yarns with Worsted and Elastomeric Covered Components

Abstract

This study gives the novelties of the approach into design of fancy yarns using worsted and elasomeric covered components. The fancy yarns have been manufactured by one process method. Dependencies of the structural and mechanical indices of fancy yarns upon the parameters of the manufacturing process – the delivery speed of fancy yarn, the rotational speed of hollow spindle, the speed of supply of effect component have been analysed. The established dependencies made it possible to design new fancy yarns with optimum properties for fabrics and knitted materials of clothing and decorative textiles.
