Abstract

Two methods on the basis of time averaged projection moiré techniques are proposed for the identification of the
machine and cross directions of paper and paperboard. For industrial applications the method based on the analysis of
the experimental images of the three lowest eigenmodes is proposed. Orthotropic constitutive model is to be taken into
